Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refund Policy
IJSRMES aims to maintain a clear and transparent policy regarding refunds for publication-related services and payments. Refund requests are considered according to the nature and stage of the service involved.
- A refund may be considered where a paid product has not been delivered or a service has not been rendered.
- For transactions within India, eligible refunds may normally be processed within one week.
- For transactions outside India, eligible refunds may normally require approximately 2–3 weeks, depending on the payment method and banking process.
- A full refund may be considered where the applicable service has not been rendered.
- A partial refund may be considered where an unamendable error has occurred in the delivery of the applicable service.
Cancellation Policy
Requests for cancellation should be communicated to the editorial office as soon as possible. Eligibility for cancellation and refund depends on the stage of the service or publication process.
- Cancellation requests made within one week may be considered for a partial refund, where applicable.
- Cancellation requests made after two weeks are generally not eligible for a refund.
- Cancellation within one day may be eligible for a full refund where the relevant service has not yet been rendered.
- Once a service has substantially commenced or has been completed, the payment may not be refundable.
Manuscript Withdrawal Policy
Authors who wish to withdraw a submitted manuscript should send a formal withdrawal request to the editorial office using the registered email address of the corresponding author.
- The withdrawal request should clearly mention the manuscript title and manuscript ID, where applicable.
- The request should be submitted by the corresponding author.
- For manuscripts with multiple authors, withdrawal may require confirmation or consent from the co-authors.
- Withdrawal requests are subject to editorial review and approval.
- A manuscript that has already been published cannot normally be withdrawn as an ordinary submission. Appropriate post-publication editorial procedures may apply where necessary.
Article Processing Charges
Payment of Article Processing Charges (APC) or other publication-related charges does not guarantee acceptance or publication of a manuscript. Editorial decisions are based on the journal's editorial and peer-review procedures.
Where a manuscript is rejected before publication, any applicable refund will be considered according to the circumstances of the payment and the services already provided.
Refund Request Procedure
Refund requests should be submitted to the editorial office with sufficient details to identify the transaction.
- Name of the corresponding author.
- Manuscript ID, if applicable.
- Transaction or payment reference.
- Date of payment.
- Reason for requesting the refund.
- Supporting information, where applicable.
General Conditions
Refunds and cancellations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis where circumstances require editorial or administrative consideration. Processing times may vary depending on the payment method and financial institution.
IJSRMES reserves the right to review refund and cancellation requests in accordance with the circumstances of each case and the stage of the publication or service process.
