Author Guidelines
Preparing Your Manuscript
IJSRMES welcomes original research contributions from researchers, academicians, scientists and professionals across engineering, science and related multidisciplinary fields.
Before You Begin
Authors are requested to prepare their manuscript carefully according to the IJSRMES formatting requirements. The manuscript should be clear, technically sound, properly referenced and carefully proofread before submission.
Authors are strongly encouraged to use the official IJSRMES manuscript template to ensure that the submitted paper follows the required format.
Formatting Requirements
Please ensure that your manuscript follows the following basic formatting requirements before submission.
Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear and grammatically correct English.
File Format
Submit the manuscript in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
Paper Size
Use standard A4 paper size for the complete manuscript.
Font
Use Times New Roman throughout the manuscript unless otherwise specified.
Title
The manuscript title should be formatted in 16 pt bold.
Headings
Main headings should be formatted in 12 pt bold.
Body Text
Normal manuscript text should be formatted in 11 pt font.
Line Spacing
Maintain 1.5 line spacing throughout the manuscript.
Margins
Maintain 1 inch margins on all four sides of the page.
Alignment
Body text should be aligned using justified formatting.
Page Numbering
Page numbers should appear at the bottom center of each page.
Recommended Paper Structure
Organize your manuscript using the following recommended sequence of sections.
Title
Provide a concise, informative and research-focused title.
Authors & Affiliations
Include complete author names, affiliations and corresponding author information.
Abstract
Summarize the purpose, methodology, major findings and conclusions.
Keywords
Provide appropriate keywords representing the main subject of the research.
Introduction
Present the research background, problem statement, objectives and scope.
Literature Review
Discuss relevant previous studies and identify the research gap.
Methodology
Describe the methods, materials, experimental procedures or analytical approach used.
Results & Discussion
Present the findings and discuss their significance in relation to existing research.
Conclusion
Highlight the principal findings and conclusions drawn from the research.
Future Scope
Future research directions may be included where appropriate.
References
Include all cited sources using a consistent referencing style.
Before Submission
A final check can help avoid delays during the editorial and review process.
Please ensure that:
- The manuscript follows the prescribed formatting requirements.
- All author names and affiliations are correct and complete.
- The manuscript has been carefully proofread for language and formatting.
- All tables and figures are properly numbered and cited in the manuscript.
- All references cited in the manuscript are included in the reference list.
- The manuscript is original and has not been simultaneously submitted elsewhere.
